it's all just a blackjack game

it was dad's birthday last september 30.. we're not with him.. that's the first time i think.. it was originally planned that we're gonna celebrate na lang sa weekend pero he's so busy with coke stuff sa pangasinan.. so he can't come.. he's not even sure if he's gonna make it this weekend.. oh well.. that's fine.. guess i have to live with this kind of lifestyle..

sana makauwi ako this sembreak.. my blockmates are also planning to have an outing.. the boys want to go to fontana.. the girls want EK or splash.. but the girls aren't inviting the guys.. haha.. but of course im going home..

my filipino blockmates were at our condo yesterday for our project.. quite an ambitious one i should say.. a website due tuesday (we've only started yesterday) with a topic, our prof admitted himself, is quite hard..

i've got my sched for the finals.. two subjects for monday!!!! first one is chem 730 am!! and immediately after that is lit!!!! whaaaaahhhh...!!! fil for tuesday and math for wednesday.. last na yun.. tapos EK na the following day.. hahaha...

went to sm cubao kangina.. sale kasi.. haha.. another bonding session with mom!!! oh well.. just wanna update...

no lab reports to be passed, no harmful chemicals, no questions to be answered, with a bonus exam (10/0), and cheerful groupmates, and with a product which obviously merits an A, our last chem lab earlier was certainly the best ever.

ice cream making!!! ice cream making!!! waaahhhhh!!!! trust me, our ice cream was the best cookies and cream i've ever tasted.....!!!!! it was so fun!!! but more than the taste, what made our lab special was the general atmosphere of the room.. pure fun!!! we were four in a group, all of them intsik!!!! op ako!!! dami pa pala pure chinese dito sa pinas... hahaha.. fun fun fun... other groups's ice cream were salty.. hahaha.. ours was perfect except that medyo tunaw sa gitna..

ang astig ng chem lab.. i now know how to make homemade ice cream and hand cream.. tayo na ng business!!!

yup, i'm exempted from taking our finals in chemistry..!!! but i didn't got an A.. just a B+ the thing is for those who got an A, they're exempted as in exempted!!!! as for us, B+ people, what we have is a "NOT RISK-FREE EXEMPTION".. ever heard of that? not risk-free, not risk-free... this means that we're given a choice: either we take the test or not.. if not, then we get automatic B+.. if yes, then we may score high and remain in B+, score THAT high and get an A, or score low this time, not maintain the B+ and get a lower letter grade. that's where the risk lies... as for me, i need to get 103 points in the finals to get an A. the funny thing is we dont know the available points in the finals.. most probably it's over 100.. ngek!!! di bale na noh... pero usually nagbibigay 5 bonus points si sir.. so i also entertain the possibility of 105/100. but based on past performance (which is quite consistent) i never got a score that's over the limit... ah basta...

at least exempted... wehehehe...

actually, not entirely over cause i'd still submit that bonus paper for lit.. but everything's fine now that lit paper is no big problem.. sembreak!!!! uwi ako 16..!!! Don, san mo gusto lunch/dinner.. game ako... whaaaahhhhh!!! im such a loser!!!!

i'm now thinking about next sem.. i've adjusted na to ateneo college life and i'm convinced i'm gonna survive.. (if i dont, then i'll delete this blog hahaha) oh well.. next sem we'll be having CALCULUS EVERYDAY..!!! who's scared of calculus ba??? *nervous laugh* joke!!! and then there's poetry.. i sure am gonna miss intro to fiction last sem!!! great subject + great teacher!!! i hope missy's gonna make poetry as interesting as fiction..!!! but we're all hoping she's not gonna take our composition class... grrrrrrr.. hirap noh!!! for english naman, i think our biggest project for next sem's english is the issue defense (you're reading this lanz??) whahaha... as early as now i'll be thinking about my topic na... hahaha.. lanz wag mo ko tawanan.. i really just want to get that A i knew i'll never get this sem.. hahaha.. pinoy??? no idea!!!! but i wish we still had sir salazar next sem!!

ahhh!! i remember tuloy our pinoy finals!!! grrrrr..!!!!!!! that's the hardest..!!! i mean, math was no joke but the pinoy final exam was really soooo..... oh well.. i'll try to post that poem in my next entry.. dont have it with me eh.. wish ko lang he'll buy my interpretation..!!! hahaha...

so there, i'll have fun this sembreak.. but next sem, i'll do my best na talaga.. i have other goals which i find embarrassing to disclose here but we'll see.. hahaha.. so help me God..

my stay in pangasinan was not that long.. what's worse, i got sick the day most of them nagkita-kita.. (uy don di kita tinatakasan ha??) i never got the chance to see julie, imee, a lot of the baguio guys, etc... i stayed there for only a week.. aside from those days when i met my friends, sembreak was pretty boring.. just finished reading harry potter 5.. i thought the series would keep getting better and better but i liked book 4 better.. i dont know.. book 5 was really boring... i'm starting to read sophie's world now.. hehe.. page 25 pa lang.. im taking it slowly haha..

last night i watched about schmidt on cable.. nice story!!! id like to read the book.. haha.. all throughout the movie i never realized it was jack nicholson playing the lead.. i thought the actor was just some unknown who acted THAT well.. maraming ganun eh hehe.. anyway, as i was saying, he gave a really effective performance.. but of course the story is still the best thing about it..

i just got my grades.. not bad.. in fact they're very good. di ako humabol sa DL .2 na lang pwde na eh.. anyway there's still next time. i've got my sched for next sem.. it's really hectic.. i think during tuesdays and thursday i'll not be able to eat lunch at my usual time.. from 1030 dire-diretso classes ko till 330.. oh well.. and yes, we'll be having calculus everyday!!! but the nice thing is that the whole block is now staying together for calc..

i was quite disappointed with the grade i got in eng.. i was expecting a higher quality point... i'd rather not elaborate though... grrrrrr..!!!!!!! i know i can get better next sem!!! hehe..

so wish me luck guys.. no, pray for me pala.. i'll be praying for you also.. God is so goooood....!!!!!!

can't believe physics ang pinag-agawan ngayon. just last sem it was es. now everyone wants to be in physics.. oh well..

i was happy with the registration kanina.. waaaahhhhhhh... basta masaya.. di ko na lang sabihin kung bakit.. then i met lanz.. ahehehe lanz that's ok. there's still next sem and i tell myself never to miss a handout again!!! can't believe it's THAT quiz that pulled down my grade!!! but if it isn't, then what???!! waaaahhhh.. ah basta.. "we're more than numbers"

ok so i'm not taking physics.. that's ok.. i'm with stacy and lanz naman eh.. ahehehe... kaso matrabaho raw es eh.. and puro handouts daw.. ok lang yan!! i have pe 101 every mon and wed, 4-5 pm..saya.. and the whole block stays together for calc.. i like that..!!!
